About Panther Ridge Conservation Center

Panther Ridge (www.pantherridgecc.org) is the most stunning, magical location to learn animal communication. The sanctuary provides a home for some of the world’s most beautiful and endangered big cats, exotic felines who were abused or neglected in their previous homes. Many of the species in residence at Panther Ridge are rarely available to be seen in zoos, and then only at a distance. Participants in these workshops will have the opportunity to work directly with leopards, cheetahs, jaguars and other uncommon breeds such as a serval and a caracal.
“Kumari will be giving you a once in a lifetime chance to be up close and personal with these great cats — to look into their souls and hear their stories,” says Panther Ridge founder, Judy Berens.
“Big cats are amongst the most sensitive, spiritual animals on the face of the earth,” says Berens. “They are mystical, elusive and not well understood by many people. They generate feelings ranging from love, to awe and intense fear. Panther Ridge Conservation Center is dedicated to providing a lifetime home and superior care, not only for rescued and abandoned cats, but for exceedingly rare species who are here to be educational ambassadors.”
Like many non-profits lately, Berens says Panther Ridge is facing declining donations with relocation being imminent. Without an immediate influx of support, there is a fear that any new location may not support the necessary equipment and room for these wonderful animals especially since moving the cheetah enclosure alone will cost approximately $25,000. Monthly cost are easily $14,000.
